If I introduce myself and say that I work with workplace safety, what is the first picture that comes to mind? Construction site, Factory, Workshop? Recent Department of Labour statistics show that just less than half of reported incidents occurred in the above three environments. The amount of work that a medium sized construction company has at any given time is not fixed and that on occasion, the company has no direct contacts in place and works as a subcontractor only.
